Accounting and Payroll Specialist

Full-time position.  The Specialist is responsible for the processing of the organization's bi-weekly payroll.  Will also act as the agency's purchasing agent; process financial reports for grants; maintain the weekly deposits and cash control reports.  In addition, this position provides back up support for accounts payable and various office support functions and participates in special projects/assignments as requested.  Qualifications:  Associates Degree or equivalent experience.  Three years of payroll process experience; five years of experience in accounting office environment; two years of supervision experience desired.  Requires effective interpersonal skills, the ability to work under minimal supervision and must have excellent computer skills.
