Supported Employment Specialist - Childrens' Services

Part-time position.  Under the direction of a written Individual Service Plan, and following a referral by a case manager, provides community employment supports to children with a serious emotional disability.  These services may include the provision of mental-illness management supports in a variety of employment settings.  Develops and maintains relationships with community employers and other vocational programs to increase collaborative efforts.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, education, or a related human service field and one year of experience working with persons with mental illness or two years of experience in a human service field, preferably within supported employment services; demonstrated communication skills; ability to transport consumers when necessary to achieve treatment goals. Good driving record and reliable transportation required.
