Cheshire Mediation

Courthouse Mediator  

Per diem position.  Provide divorce and post-divorce mediation services to clients referred to Cheshire Mediation, helping parents negotiate issues of custody and support.  Requirements:  Certification in Marital Mediation and two years of experience working as a marital mediator.  Excellent communication and listening skills as well as the ability to mediate as part of a team. Community & Family Services Associate

Community & Family Service Associates / Respite Provider

Per Diem positions.  The CFSA Family Respite Provider provides in-home care to assist children who have significant emotional issues and/or the child and family are under stress.  The Respite Provider works with an MFS case manager to implement identified goals from the Individual Service Plan with families.  Services may be provided in the provider’s home or out in the community.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Services; min. of one year of experience working in a clearly related field such as mental health or early childhood. Good driving record required. Parent Outreach Program Coordinator  

Full-time position.  This position requires a person who is knowledgeable and stays abreast of current trends in prevention and parent education.  Responsible for the daily coordination and management of the program. Provides parent education to the general community and targeted at-risk populations.  The candidate must have supervisory skills; experience in collaborating with interagency teams, be organized, have experience in grant writing, and a solid knowledge of child and parent development.  Bachelor’s degree in human services, child development or related field with experience in program management as well as teaching and group facilitation.  Good driving record required. Youth Initiatives Office

Case Manager Youth Development Coach  

Full-time position.  Supports the individual needs and builds on the individual strengths of youth ages 12-24 in outpatient, substance abuse treatment through the Monadnock Adolescent Treatment Initiative.  Coach coordinates therapeutic, educational, recreational, social and skill building activities for participants. These may include tutoring, mentoring, outdoor activities, job training, wellness activities, community service and more to assist youth in achieving treatment goals, completing school and planning their futures.  In addition to direct intervention with youth the Coach will also perform administrative duties, including GAIN M90 follow ups in support of the program.  Qualifications:  BA/BS in social work or related field.  Minimum one year of experience working with substance abusing youth and their families.  Good driving record and reliable transportation required. MANY Options After School Coordinator

Full-time position.  An award-winning, model after school program that furthers the mission of cultivating resilience, social skills and healthy development in 5th-9th grade youth. Responsible for the implementation, administration, and management of 5 day/week after-school program designed to reduce risky behaviors and improve academic performance in a fun, safe and structured environment.
