Children's Services Overview
Welcome to children’s services at MFS, where we inspire hope for children to lead healthy, productive lives.
Often, it’s hard to know why a child is consistently unhappy, angry, aggressive, or anxious or why a child persistently behaves in ways that are just not acceptable. If your child is having emotional or behavioral difficulties, we can help. Our licensed counselors specialize in working with children. They understand not only how to communicate with a child, but also how children perceive the world around them and the kinds of issues that can worry or confuse them. We will meet your child “where the child is” and help the child – and you – to overcome the concerns that have brought you to us.
"Hope" is the thing with feathers—That perches in the soul—And sings the tunes without the words—And never stops—at all...

“It has been such a gift to check in with my son’s therapist to be sure he is doing OK. He is able to get along better at school and handle things at home, thanks to coping skills he has developed through working with MFS. I know that having this resource will make a big difference in his life.” -- parent of a child receiving treatment at MFS
